A song composed for a short film : #1nuit by Akache Busiah. The director asked for a trip-hop song ala Massive Attack. Being myself a trip-hop fan (bands like Potishead, Moloko …), it’s been a pleasure composing this song and I was happy to come across samples of that female singer with a soul voice. Listening back, I must admit I maybe had a heavy hand on the low end.
